Web & Paper Document Proofreading & Editing
I didn't major in English but I am quite good with the language (it's a nerd thing) and therefore able to provide assistance to others in writing, proofreading, and editing.
Don't just take my word for it... I am Brainbench certified! That really just means I took an online test and my scores were compared with other individuals who took the same test. It wasn't a controlled testing environment, but if you're going to put your faith into a stranger anyway, you might as well put your faith in a stranger who has at least attempted to prove they can do something. ;)
Business Writing
I scored 4.53 (higher than 99% of previous examinees) on the Brainbench Business Writing exam, certifying as a "Master." At the time of the test, I ranked 70th out of 11538 test-takers in the US and 109th out of 47949 test-takers anywhere. That puts me in the top 0.23% -- If you have something you need proofread or edited, I can do it for you!
Indexing
Do you have a print or e-book that must be indexed? I provide both in-depth and exhaustive level indexing services for texts which are either "general knowledge" or which cover areas within my comfort zones (any person indexing a text should have a specialist knowledge of the field in question for successful detail-level indexing). If your text covers any general knowledge topic or any specific field at a high-school level or below, I can probably help you. If it is a professional publication in a specialized field or a college/university-level document, contact me with details and I'll let you know if it is something I can do for you. Generally, the more index terms you are able to provide to start with, the more precise the final index.
Web to Paper and Paper to Web Conversions
If you have a huge website that you need to have converted to a paper-friendly format or a document of between one and several hundred pages that must be put online, I can assist you. Every project is different, so please contact me with details. If you are going from paper to web, please be sure to indicate whether you have an electronic copy of the document or if you'll need it converted from paper-only.
