Christmas Lap Quilt

I found this quilt top the other day when I was cleaning out my craft room--until I opened the box and unfolded the quilt I had forgotten about it entirely! I guess I just packed it away a couple years ago when cleaning up for Christmas and never got back to it.

This is a Christmas-themed lap quilt top. The outside border is a holly print and the center is a poinsettia panel. The yellow squares are a yellow/beige-on-beige poinsettia print, and the blue squares are a glittery snowflake/star print. I have not yet quilted this quilt top. The fabric I plan to use for the back is a floral calico with a poinsettia theme and the binding will be some complementary fabric. I don't have a plan yet for the quilting pattern.

The edges look uneven because I had to tape it to the wall to get it to lay flat for the photo--it is really properly squared with nice mitered corners.

This quilt is available for $350 finished or $200 as-is with the backing fabric and batting included.
